I've got an iMac, and the in built mic records sound, but it is very muffly, and unusable. Is there a reason for this? Is there a work around? Is this going to be supported in the final release version? thanks Gwyn xxxxxx
In RC1, I setup a bluetooth headset on Mac OS X, and selected it as Output/Input in Sound Preferences. It worked really nice inside Parallels with Avaya's Softphone. Now on RC2, only the output works, but the Input just never records, like Windows knows there is a recording device (as the button to record on the Voice Recorder app isn't grayed out), but it never receives data from it. Wonder if its a bug or just that I misconfigured something :/
Well I got RC1 back and my bluetooth headset records my voice great. This is on the Avaya Softphone program. The Sound Recorder program that comes with Windows still records only some pieces of the time-frame apparently, but on the Softphone I got great voice quality out. Upgraded again to RC2 without doing anything else and its broken again. I guess it was a bug/missing component and not my misconfiguration.
