    I'm having some trouble assigning more of my macbook pro's memory to the parallels half of the computer.
    My computer has 2gbs of memory.
    I open up parallels, and the configuration bit that opens when it opens says that 512 mbs are being assigned to parallels, but I've set about 1600 of them to parallels through the parallels preferences window.
    Any suggestions?

    Hello Fireflx,

    Could you please attach the following screenshots:

    1. The error message;

    2. Parallels Desktop menu bar -> Preferences -> Memory tab;

    3. Your VM Configuration Editor, Memory section.

    Thanks in advance.
