    Hello,

I have a Mac Pro (mid 2010) (2.8 Quad Core, 8 GB Ram). It is running OS X 10.6.7 Desktop as the base.

On top of that, I have Parallels installed with two virtual machines:
    -1 OS X Server 10.6.7 (4 Virtual Cores, 4GB RAM Allocated)
-1 Win 7 Pro (2 Virtual Cores, 2 GB Ram Allocated)

I let these virtual servers run for about a week, and when I checked on them, the base is extremely slow, the mouse cursor crawls across the screen. I can click inside the virtual machine, and it is equally as slow. Activity monitor inside of the virtual mac server shows only 1.7 GB of ram in use) Activity monitor on the base shows that Memory usage is 100%, with the Mac server using all 4GB allocated to it. If I shut down both virtual machines, speed returns to the base instantly. With both virtual machines shut down, it shows 6.5GB of RAM free.

I restarted the machines, and even though I have a large amount allocated to the virtual machines, at the moment, Activity Monitor only shows each Virtual Machine using ~500 MB of Ram, but the numbers are slowly climbing.

Does anyone have any thoughts, no other software is running on the base, and the virtual machines are running a relatively light load.

    Thanks
