Been a while since I've browsed the forum. Now that I have placed and order for a new Core 2 MBP, I have to do a little catching up. In the distant past, I have read that there seems to be a "sweet spot" for memory allocation. Have the recommendations changed with the newer processors in the iMacs- or does anyone anticipate the memory allocation recommendations will change with the Merom processors and 3GB of RAM? Sorry if this has been answered. If not, maybe this could be a sticky topic?
