I'm using a macbook pro (3gb ram, core2duo 2.33) and parallels only allows me to assign 1100mb ram.

why can't i do more? to at least 1500 (where the slider bar stops at)

i use ram intensive 3d apps

3D? Which probably means you want 3d Graphics, right? You can't do 3D in Parallels. You need to use BootCamp

Also, you probably want to up your 'Memory Reserve' and put your properties RAM at around 800 MB max.

Search around a bit, there is PLENTY on these two subject to keep you reading for awhile. I don't mind answering questions, but I do mind the answering the same ones over and over. 'nuff said. There are probably at LEAST three active ones discussing memory at the second. Go ahead and PM me if you need help using the search tool (it is an art to find things, I have people asking me these sorts of questions ALL the time, so don't feel dumb because you have to ask). Happy searching!

Everyone else, nothing new here, move along.
