In Parallels Desktop 7 with Windows 7 and MediaShout 4.5 - video runs choppy when projected. Everything is updated Windows, MediaShout, DirectX but it doesn't play correctly. Think I have all the setting for max video performance in Parallels. Any suggestions?
Try to check for the driver conflict - disable any antivirus software you have. Also use the KB Video Issue Troubleshooting - cannot point you directly - KB is on maintenance now
Thanks so much for your response! I'll disable the antivirus and try it. I'll check the KB for video conflicts. I searched there for info on DirectX problems but could find little. If you run across something shoot it to me. If you have time could you check out the other question I posted? Just can't figure it out on my own. Thanks again!
Unfortunately none of the suggestions worked. Was going to upgrade from v6 to v7 if it did work since in theory it should, but could not get it to. Also contacted MediaShout support which is excellent and we worked on it for an hour and still no go. Thanks for your effort though. I can use it fine when I boot straight into Bootcamp.
I suggest you to contact Parallels Tech support- probably this case need some Dev attention. www.parallels.com/support/
