I purchased a license for Parallels Desktop for Mac 10. I've just now discovered that Parallels will no longer activate because I've activated Parallels too many times? What kind of bananas idea is this. Do you actually think this stops software piracy, or that your customers find this to be a desirable feature? It's true, I've used the key a few times to activate Parallels. Since major OSX upgrades tend to increase the odds of strange system funkiness I always backup my data, install the OSX onto a new drive, install my apps, and restore my data. This has always gone smoothly until today when I discovered the license I paid for thinks I'm a criminal. I've never had Parallels Desktop 10 installed on more than one machine at a time. I've paid for Parallels upgrades since Parallels Desktop 6 for Mac. I think I should be treated like a customer, not a crook. If it's true that I can no longer activate my copy of Parallels then I will no long be a customer of Parallels. You have competitors with competitive features and more respectful licensing. If you can reset my license to allow it to activate the software I've paid for, then I'd appreciate that.
Dear @MichaelB17 We've reset the activation key. Please open Terminal on the Mac and execute this command:prlsrvctl activate-license-online for a successful activation.
