I upgraded to Parallels 9, 10.9 (Mavericks) and did a clean VM install of Windows 8.1.
All seemed well until I opened my CAD software (MicroStation) which relies heavily on Direct X. The result was bizarre "zingers" all over the screen which change when zooming in an out. Then tried an existing Windows 7 VM. Same issue, it was not there before upgrading.
Checked on my XP VM which uses Direct X9 and all is well.
As I upgraded both Mavericks and Parallels before discovering this I'm not sure if its parallels or mavericks that is causing the issue but it is a major issue. My CAD software is unusable in this configuration.
Has anybody else seen this display issue?
Edit. I have confirmed this is a DirectX 10 issue. If I switch 3D acceleration back to DirectX9 the display anomalies go away.
