I have a really ugly keymapping problem.
Controlling OSX over VNC works fine.
Controlling my Boot Camp partition booted in Parallels in OSX over VNC works fine to a point - I cannot access the ALT key.
This key is necessary for keyboard shortcuts on some apps I use. I have tried remapping keys EVERYWHERE in OSX, to no avail. If I hook up a Windows keyboard to the mac, the keys work as expected in Parallels - ALT is Alt, WinKey is Apple, etc. When I connect via VNC they are reversed - Alt becomes WinKey and WinKey (if I could press it through VNC) becomes Alt. I don't need the use of WinKey over VNC, but I do need Alt.
It seems as though this is an issue with VNC more than an issue with the machine itself, but I am hoping someone else has stumbled across this issue and has some ideas.
Does anyone have any ideas?
