Make a Boot Camp partition from a Parallels virtual hard disk? (WinXP, Parallels 2.5)

    Hi all,

I have never used Apple's Boot Camp before. Up until now, I have only run WindowsXP from a virtual hard disk, using Parallels (version 2.5).

But now I really find myself needing the ability to boot directly in WindowsXP, so I need to get Boot Camp going (latest version: 1.3).

I understand that it's possible to have Parallels run WindowsXP from an existing Boot Camp partition... but what about creating a new Boot Camp partition from an existing Parallels install of WindowsXP in a virtual hard disk?

Is this possible? If so, are there any directions anywhere on how to do it? ANy other suggestions? I'd really rather not have to start over installing WindowsXP from scratch again!

    thanks very much,
    ~jason

Do a search of the forums as this was previously covered.
It is a long and detailed process.
