    Hello,

Any new comments on this ? I am having kind of a similar problem.

We have been running Plesk for a very long time and have been upgrading from version to version. At the moment, we are running 8.3.

Suddenly last weekend, we started getting complaints from users not receiving any mail any more. I lookend on the server and saw indeed the Mail Transfer Agent was halted - I have no idea why.

I could select the service, start it again and everything seems normal now. Case closed easy and quickly.

However, I am curious to find out what caused this. This suddenly came out of nowhere...

Download and Install current MailEnable Standard Edition

    Hello

I had similar problem in my Plesk 8.2. Server. I downloaded and installed the current version of MailEnable from their website. This solved my problem. You can also try. Following is the download page link.

by the by, you have posted this in the wrong section of forum.

    Hello,

Thanks for you answer - I'll certainly give this simpel solution a try !

Still very strange though that this has started to come up now so suddenly after literally years of working without a glitch...

Oh and about the location in the forum: you're right. I Googled on the first message and simply replied on that...

    Well, sorry and thanks !

    Regards,

    Mav.

p.s.: In the meanwhile, I have been trying an even more simple (but ugly) solution and that is to have Windows restart the service when it has stopped. Worked nice the last couple of days.
