I just arrived home from the office with a MacBook Pro 2011 w/Mavericks and Parallels 9 running.

At the office, I had two adaptors active, WiFi and ethernet 100 mbps Full. Before I left work, I switched to my home profile which is Wifi only.

I arrived home, switched to Win7 and connected a VPN and started running some Win stuff. I switched back to my Mac, and had no networking connectivity.

I tried my ISP's website, then my router and couldn't get to either place. I quit Parallels, and all of a sudden all connectivity from the Mac stuff returned. Parallels is set to use the Default Adaptor.

I think I experienced a similar problem when I thought I'd need to reinstall Mavericks because everything was hanging, until I ripped out all vestiges of Parallels when suddenly everything started working again.

Anyone else have problems like this?

Environment: MacOS X 10.9, MacBook Pro Late 2011 (Quad core Core i7), 16 GB, 1500 GB, 802.11AC router (802.11n on the Mac), and a bunch of OEM software.
