Today, Apple announced the availability of Macbook Pros with Core 2 Duo processors. All models now come standard with 2 GB of memory and larger hard drives.

Go to the Apple website to get more complete information.

Q: Will Parallels Desktop for the Mac work on the new MBPs?

Given that this is the same chip as in the new iMacs, it's reasonable to assume that Build 1940 will work on the new MacBook Pro's. Of course, we'll need to wait 'till they actually ship later this week to be absolutely certain.
