In 2012 I bought my Macbook Pro Retina Mid 2012, I ordered it with Parallels Ver 8, & Windows 8 Virtual. I have updated my MAC OS to High Sierra, now Window 8 will not launch, after some reading it appears MAC OS High Sierra is not compatible with the Parallels Ver 8. Now, I would like to update to Parallels Ver 17, as it seems that is the only version now available that is still compatible with MAC OS High Sierra. Also, I can't seem to purchase Ver 17 it only gives me the option on Parallels to purchase Ver 19. Also, will Ver 17 automatically see the Windows 8 virtual once I update to 17? Anybody have any insight into what I need to do to get my machine working again with Parellels?? Thanks for any input.
