I tried searching for this but wasn't sure what to call it so I'm sorry if this has been addressed before. When using PD8 (newest version) on my macbook pro w/ retina screen, if I'm using a VM in full screen mode and want to start another VM, clicking show virtual machines list pops the list up over the current full screen VM. This alone is an issue as it should pop up on a desktop and not over the full screen app. The bigger problem however, is what happens if I click on a new VM to start it with the list still "over" the full screen app. A new VM is started, but the full screen feature gets confused and I get left with a phantom full screen view (w/ linen texture and no control bar at the top) that can I can never get rid of as well as the new VM started in full screen. This happens repeatedly every time I try it and from that point on, using Parallels becomes difficult because all sorts of weird glitches start occurring when going back and forth between full screen and not and OS X gets all messed up. The only solution is to fully restart the laptop. Fully closing PD8 and all VMs and starting again does not get rid of the issue. This is extremely annoying and caused me to do a lot of resets until I realized this specific sequence is what caused the problem of the full screen view that won't go away. If more detail is needed I can try to take a screencast video of it if I can find some free software but PLEASE look into this issue Parallels.
