Using Parallels v4... I have the mac screen resolution set to 1440 x 900 which is the native resolution of my external viewsonic VA1912w series monitor. Everything looks fine. Parallels sets the windows resolution to 1439x761 every time it is started. If you change it, it just changes it back. Is there any way to set the windows resolution and have it stick? Why is it defaulting to 1439x761 (which strikes me as an odd number). I don't understand how the Mac resolution setting and the windows resolution setting work together. If I switch back and forth from a mac window to a windows window, it is not resetting the resolution each time. Does one take priority? Thanks bob
1439x761 is resolution for Parallels Desktop to feet in the Mac Desktop you can resize VM, instead of changing resolution (all is from the same stuff - dynamic resolution)
