Mac to Windows cut-and-paste - losing formatting

Using OS Lion and Windows 2000

I have just started with Parallels 7.
When I cut-and-paste from Mac to Mac, the formatting is OK, but when I cut-and-paste from Mac to Windows, the formatting does not adapt to the target, regardless of how I paste it.

Have I missed a point in the Parallels set up?

Same experience

Same experience when pasting from Mac to Windows (OS X 10.8.2, PD 7.0.15107, Windows 7 Pro SP1).

Pasting into OneNote always yields plain text, pasting into Visio yields some format preservation: text color, underline, but not background color highlight. Have tried various sources from the Mac end (Word, browser, etc).

Would like to know if it's something which will be addressed.

Followed the steps to reinstall Parallels Tools, including disabling AV software, and it fails every time at 57% installation. Great. Been here before, I'll contact support. Frustrating.
