I installed 4.0 as an upgrade and everything went fine.....Then i rebooted. it goes through the reboot process and once it is finished, my computer is frozen. i can not move my mouse or open any programs even via the keyboard.

    Major problem....please help.

Press and hold Control + Options keys for 2 - 3 Seconds.
This will release your mouse and keyboard.

    drdarren,

Try connecting your mouse directly to the virtual machine via Devices -> USB. If you are able to do so, reinstall Parallels Tools right away, making sure that you disable any antivruses before.

i can not get to that stage. my computer is frozen in the mac screen. once i rebooted after install of parallels 4, my keyboard and mouse do not work so i can not get past the main screen of my mac. i also have a bluetooth mouse which will not work either

i responded to the email but i am not sure if you received it so i am reposting my response here. i re-installed the mac os with everything intact so the os is now working but parallels is not working when i click on the icon. i dont want to re-install parallels until i hear from you. if you need to log on i am okay with that. just let me know.
