I have beta6 running without problem on my iMac but when I try to load XP on my Mac Mini it first gives a message that hardware virtualization is locked in firmware and then the XP Install stops at the same place(have tries 3 CDs) saying that a file isnt located in the specificied sector. The disks load fine other place and the virtualization message is a mystery - anyone got a clue? Bob
Mine gave the same message in beta 4 but worked ok for the install. It no longer gives the same error. Do you have the latest firmware? I put in the latest firmware when I installed bootcamp and that is about the time I remember seeing the message disappear. Some people here have had luck turning their Win XP CD into an iso using a disk utility (I've never tried it) then mounting that iso instead of the physical CD.
