    Hi,

I have a Macbook with 2GB RAM and 60GB storage

I have constantly been getting messages saying I'm low on virtual memory.

In my Activity Monitor is says that parallels is using 2.1GB of virtual memory.

I have attempted to fix the problem by:
    1) Increasing the virtual memory I give to the PC from 540MB to 700MB
    2) Parallels Compactor
    3) Parallels Image Tool - Defrag
    4) Parallels Image Tool - Increaed my Virtual Machine to 16GB from 8GB
    5) Parallels Compressor

    I still get the error.

Anyone have any clue how I can fix this?

I've read forums about Parallels opening 30 windows with dual monitors...
And having a corrupted swap file...

    Please help...

    Thanks

Oh...and I forgot to say I also did an AOL Active Scan of my whole computer (1.5 hrs) and found no viruses, spyware, etc...

AOL 9 dialler update just made a mess of my networking so I had to uninstall all AOL stuff

both the windows and the mac OS like HD with about one third empty space

512 mb memory suits my use of paralles out of 2gb RAM

    hard disk 32000 mb
    network adapter 1 shared networking

and it all just keeps on truckin'
