The UI changes are almost Mac like. Note in the preferences, the popup buttons are not aligned correctly and the popup buttons are not true popup buttons. I'm pleased with the changes, but it still needs a little more polish. Yes, I'm a UI snob, but I look at a lot of Mac software and write Mac software for a living. Polished software differentiates the Mac from other platforms, in my opinion.
I'm not thrilled with the new icons in the Status Bar. Icons should be more than pretty, they should communicate. The new hard disk icon looks like an iPod to me and the new network adapter icon looks like a shiny blue dot. Can Parallels please use a network adapter icon that communicates what it is without having to do a mouse rollover to find out what it is?
