When Parallels is not running, using 'fs_usage", theres seems to be ongoing disk activity. Is this preventing the drive from spining down. An output sample is: 09:16:51 stat /Library/Parallels/.dhcp.en2 0.000028 prl_dhcpd 09:16:52 stat /Library/Parallels/.dhcp.en2 0.000029 prl_dhcpd 09:16:53 stat /Library/Parallels/.dhcp.en2 0.000027 prl_dhcpd 09:16:54 stat /Library/Parallels/.dhcp.en2 0.000030 prl_dhcpd 09:16:55 stat /Library/Parallels/.dhcp.en2 0.000033 prl_dhcpd 09:16:56 stat /Library/Parallels/.dhcp.en2 0.000029 prl_dhcpd 09:16:57 stat /Library/Parallels/.dhcp.en2 0.000025 prl_dhcpd Thanks
I'm running Parallels right now and I'm seeing this CONSTANTLY (like multiple times a second): :46:31.804 stat /Library/Parallels/.dhcp.en2 0.000024 prl_dhcpd I have the Parallels DHCP item disabled in my network control panel.
