After installing Parallels on a Macbook Pro, I installed Windows XP and added virus protection. Then I added a standard user account for another person. When I opened Parallels in this account it asked for a new installation of Windows. I installed it again, but now it needs virus protection. Is there a way to simply make the standard user account recognize the original windows installation that was installed in the administrator account?
I have now deleted the second installation of Windows that was installed under the second user account. I moved the Parallels folder into the shared folder while in the administrator account. Parallels opens in the second user account but Windows is not there. How can I find the original Windows installation, and where do I place it so that it will work in the second account? I don't really need to use it in the administrator account, if that makes moving things around any easier.
