Windows 11 differs from Windows 10 in a number of ways, especially when considering Windows 11 ARM VM.

I like to keep Explorer Folders and Document Files open during shutdowns, just like what would be possible using Windows 10 Hibernate. It didn't take a second to note that Windows 11 doesn't have a Hibernate option and that fact prevented closing down Windows and keeping Explorer Folders and Document Files open.

It took some fudging around to find a work-around using Lock from the Start Menu Power Switch options. It turns out to be a three-step operation. 1) Set Lock and 2) type control-Alt to close Windows 11 VM, then 3) close the Windows 11 Session with the Red Dot Button on the Top-Left of the Title Bar.

To log back in from MacOS, whether a shutdown or restart was done, or after just working in MacOS, click the Windows 11 icon on the MacOS desktop, After Windows 11 opens, click the Sign In button. Previously opened Folders and Documents will still be there, but oddly, whited out. I haven't figured out how to prevent the white out, but it's not a fatal problem, since click the document or folder on the Task Bar will fill them in and open the selected folder or document.

Now, there needs to be said something about how to open multiple folders and documents on the Task Bar. It's simple enough, 1) open the folder or document and 2) click the dash on the right end of the title bar to collapse the folder or document to the Task Bar. This 2-step process can be repeated to open multiple folders and/or documents.

This work-around for Windows 11 VM is a bit odd, but it works.
