I have a Mac Air and I'm using multiple monitors with my Main Screen on the right and the LCD from my Air on the left. If I launch PD6 with both monitors up it consistently hangs. If I launch with just the LCD (no external monitor) I have no problems. Anyone else seen this? Are there workarounds? Thx, Lane

I just installed Lion and PD6 on a mid-2010 MBP, and am using two external displays (Dell SP2309Ws), one connected through the mini display port and a VGA converter, and the other through a DisplayLink USB to DVI.

I'm not having any problems with the PD6 hanging, but coherence mode isn't working properly. Particularly, something appears to be off with the GUI - the VM will enter coherence mode, but it's impossible to work with because the place where the cursor is recognized by the computer is not where the cursor appears to be pointing to the user (me), at least most of the time. For example, the start menu (my VM is an XP machine) will pin to the dock (as normal), and will open when clicked on. But clicking on an item in the start menu fails, because the VM actually thinks the start menu is somewhere else. Similarly, if I open an application when the VM is in window mode and then switch to coherence, clicking within the application may bring up dialogs entirely different from what one expects (for example I click on the file menu in Word and the VM thinks that my cursor was on the Office Assistant, so that opens rather than the file menu).

I've reinstalled parallels tools, and even did a complete reinstall of PD6, but to no avail. Coherence mode works just fine on the MBP's native LCD, but even with only one of the external displays attached (and the MBP operating in "clamshell" mode), coherence misbehaves.

    Also fails under Windows 7

I've upgraded to Windows 7 (32-bit) from WinXP and still hang. It is stable with my LCD alone but with an external monitor I consistently hang.
