I wish that running Linux Guest OS's under Parallels Desktop for Mac would feel as smooth as running Windows XP the same way. With Linux I have to explicitly change the focus to/from the VM, the mouse cursor does not move smoothly, which makes it difficult to use, and I can't cut and paste between the VM and OS X. So, are there any plans for mouse (most important) and clipboard synchronization for Linux?

Parallels Tools for guest Linux is in our roadmap for future version.

Have you thought about opening the specs for the Parallels VideoAdapter? For VMWare SVGA there's even an official driver in X: http://wiki.x.org/wiki/vmware
Thus virtually any modern Linux distribution can use VMWares graphics capabillities out of the box.
I know, that you can use higher resolutions and depth in Parallels using the generic VESA driver, but I think a special driver would be faster.

Special video driver will be part of Parallels Tools for Linux.
