Ok I am new to using parallels, but so far I seem to be running into one major problem. I am running parallels under Windows XP. And Since I am a Slackware user by nature. So I go through the steps of installing it. And everything works great. the install goes smoothly I don't have any errors. And it finishes without a problem. Everything is great. Here is where the problem begins. I reboot parallels like I am told, but when it boots it tells me there is no operating system installed. And I am thinking what that is impossible. I installed it not 10 seconds ago. So if someone wants to point out the error of my ways I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Make sure the vm is open. Click on the open vm button and follow the wizard through to be sure.

Well I seem to have been able to get Fedora to install without any problems. And when it rebooted it was still installed so that is good. The only thing I noticed different was I had Fedora partition itself and it created well I can't really describe it. Well basically it created a virtual partition that liked to my virtual drive and put root there so maybe thats what I should have done with Slack
