    Hi

I am trying to create ( without success ) an Ubuntu VM using a .img file rather than an ISO image - the specific version I am trying to install is the Ubutntu Netbook Remix which I can only find as an .img for creating a Flash boot drive rather than as an .iso image.

Is there any way to use an .img file rater than a .iso file ??

I have tried changing the file extension and also burning the image to a CD - with out success, and I can find no way to boot a VM from a USB drive. I have also searched for a utility that will convert the .img file to an ISO image again without success.

    Thoughts/suggestions ?
