In Coherence mode, Linux control panels shouldn't appear, just like the task barre hidden for Windows running in Coherence mode.

Now in version 9, Coherence let show Linux applications in the Mac OS X dock, and creates a folder containing Linux applications launchers.
The remaining features, like settings, log out, restart etc, should be available with a right click over the VM icon, just like the Windows VMs.

So keeping control panels open in Coherence mode is useless, and should be kept as an optional setting for the users who want them anyway. Windows VMs have this setting anyway.
