Hello. A couple of weeks ago my father bought a new computer and gave me his old one. It's a MacBook Pro mid 2009 with osx 10.9 mavericks (core 2 duo 2.8 GHz, 8 GB ram). I need, for a project, windows 7 virtualized (I doubt that it can run smoothly win10), but here is the thing: my Mac only can support OSX el capitan as the most "recent" version, and the current parallels version doesn't support it (and my father doesn't want windows on his new computer, even virtualized). So the question is: I've seen that old versions can be downloaded from your website, but if I download parallels 10... could I purchase a licence for it, in order to be able to use it?

Also, a little question (maybe) out of parallels, but probably interesting: as I said, my Mac has mavericks on it. On the Apple store I can download (as my father bought them) Yosemite and el capitan. For a such old computer (almost 11 years!), which osx version would you recommend me and why, and also which parallels version would it be the best for it?

    Thanks in advance. Sergio.

    Hello Sergio,
you can check all information about Parallels Desktop version and macOS compatibility here.
Also you can download any previous Parallels Desktop version from this KB article.
Moreover we stop sell previous version of Parallels Desktop once the newest has been released. (So now you can purchase from parallels.com only Parallels Desktop 15)
But you can purchase previous Parallels Desktop version from our official resellers.
Please let us know if you have any additions questions.

Hello. On Amazon I can find a copy of parallels 10 and 11, but the prices... 735 euros is TOO expensive (the price for a licence of parallels 15, here on your web, is about 100). Out of the question. Apple doesn't sell versions so old. Physical resellers here on Spain (the ones you list on your website) most probably are closed due to covid19 in order to ask them (although I doubt that they can sell versions so old).

If I could find a copy on eBay, and with a "normal" price (about the price you sell the current version, not abnormally high prices), would you recommend me that I purchase the licence there?

    Sergio.

Dear Sergio, we cannot recommend you to purchase license from ebay or not...
Maybe other customers have any feedback about it.
