Letting go of the CPU I think Parallel should let go of the CPU when it is not the front most app. I’m not talking about lowering priority but actually reducing usage. Maybe go further when hiding such as automatically suspending the app. I'm looking to reduce CPU usage on the MacBook which can get very hot when something like Parallel is driving the CPU usage way up.
vamp07, man, you are on point with this one. Granted, I need to bump up the memory in my MacBook Pro from 512 to at least a GB or more but this bad boy (laptop) really does get hot when using Parallels software. How much RAM do you currently have installed in your machine? Also, what kind of machine are you running Parallels on?
Man I need to pay more attention to my spelling. Can somebody correct the subject of this thread? I have 1 gig and it seems fine although more is always nice.
