How can we launch a 64 bit application on a 2008R2 Terminal Server using 2X? We will have several, but for testing we've been trying to launch dsac.exe.. In 64 bit mode, the exe is in c:\windows\system32\dsac.exe. When you're in 32 bit mode (which maps system32 to syswow64), the exe isn't available. IF you use c:\windows\sysnative\dsac.exe it's obviously there, but it won't launch from 2X. Same goes when you try and launch either the 64bit and 32bit versions of cmd.exe

So, whilst 2X say that 8.0 is 2008R2 compatable, it only seems to be so if you stick to running 32 bit applications. Am I missing something, or is this really a limitation with the ApplicationServer at the moment (and is it scheduled to be upgraded?).

2X 8X is not compatible with 2008R2 ... there are more broken functions, like Universal printing (see other thread)
