Just starting to use Parallels, and am loving it! However, I find the 128KB limitation on clipboard synchronization makes it impossible to use copy/paste to transfer graphics between Mac OS and Windows XP guest. Is a larger clipboard in the works?

    Thanks!

    jmardenslp,

What is your opinion - which size of shared clipboard will be OK to you?

I would like to be able to configure it.

How does the syncronization work anyways? Mac OS X supports larger clipboards and so does windows, so the limitation is somewhere in the syncronization tool itself. Is it possible for the syncronization tool to identify that the clipboard is large and allocate the memory it needs to syncronize the content?

Using the clipboard for images is indispensable for me.

Why can't the clipboard size be dynamically allocated as needed? If not, then allocate the maximum size the host OS supports and/or allow the user to specify the size if there is a performance issue.

    Great news.

Is it possible to add a notification to this feature so that I know when it's been released?

There are other more convenient ways to transfer images instead of the clipboard, like a shared folder.
