    Hi,

I've been looking since a long time to the 2X application server, and well, it seems almost finished :)
I mean, in my case, the linux client seems on a good way... however, infortunatly, it's not usable today due to a weird problem with keyboard mapping (and maybe other problems not yet identified).

I've read in this forum that a fix was on its way, but no more information about a release date ... does a roadmap exist ?
Actually, I'm working as a sysadmin in IT department for University of "Bretagne Occidentale" (in France) and we are looking for a Citrix alternative - with a working Linux client, of course, since our primary OS for workstation tends to be "Linux-ish".

What exactly do you mean by
What keyboard are you trying to use ASERTY ?

Try posting a support ticket from the application server so your concern is on file and the data of your system can be collected further. And add as much info on the keyboard as you can so the developers can look into it when they address those issues.

The keyboard is Azerty (French layout fr_FR).
On the server's side (w2k3), everything is OK, and the Windows client (current version) works just fine.

The problem occurs only with the Linux client (ver. 7.0.8132, tar.bz package), the distro is Ubuntu Jaunty 9.0.4, but I have the same issue with older versions too (8.04 and 8.10)... It seems that the linux keyboard driver was slightly modified (got the same kind of problems with VMWare Workstation and a couple of apps - eg. dosbox)...

Overall, the direction keys don't work (very frustating in Excel ;-)) and backslash ("Alt Gr+8" on the french keyboard).

    Regards,

    Hi,
It seems that the beta version has solved my keyboard problem !

By the way, when is the final release scheduled ? (as we are planning purchase and installation of 2X products).
What about Universal printing support in Linux ?

Thank you very much for your help,
    regards,
    S. Degouzon
