I'm running build 3106 beta 3 on a Macbook Pro. When I resume from pause, I find the virtualised keyboard mapping has gone crazy, forcing an XP reboot to get it back to normal again. There must be some Windows setting (like number lock) that's being activated by pause/resume but I don't know how to set it back again. Can anyone help? TIA
I just use external USB keyboards all the time certainly you should keep one at home "just in case" Hugh W
Same problem here with an iMac. I originally had 3150 installed and was using a MacAlly keyboard. Around the same time as I upgraded to 3170 my keyboard died and I replaced it with the original Apple white one. Everything was fine before this point. Now, about 80% of the time when I resume XP the key mappings are scrambled. In Notepad, letters are activating the 'find' function and doing everything but typing the actual letter. A reboot of XP returns it to normal. XP recognizes the keyboard as a PS2, which is probably what Parallels emulates. Activating the keyboard under Devices>USB fixes the problem but then the keyboard won't work in OS X. This is frustrating as running XP bogs the system too much to keep it running all day and it takes to long to reboot XP every time this happens. The suspend function as it is working now is broken. Either the upgrade went bad or Parallels can't handle swapping keyboards on the host machine. It shouldn't be a windows problem as the VM should be the same all the time.
