I had a "black screen" panic with Beta 3 today. I opened the new version and tested two VMs that I had created in the Beta 2 version. I had to make two because of networking issues; some features of my office VPN would only work with en1/ethernet while local host to VM networking only worked with en0/wifi. In Beta 3, these issues have disappeared, so I deleted the en0/wifi VM. When I opened the remaining VM I got an erro message that another machine was using VT-x. I closed the VM and reopened a few times with the same message. Finally when I opened the VM into Win XP, I got black screen system crash. When it came back it still saw another instance of VM running.

After manually restarting the system, everything was fine. I have tried to reproduce this again but have not seen it.

Other than that, this Beta 3 is a dramatic improvement. The networking issues are fixed as noted and the CPU usage is much better.

I had a kernel panic today on Beta3 while starting XP. I was at the XP login screen typing in my password and boom - panic. I submitted to Parallels via email.

    Same here...

I too had a kernel panic when shutting XP down about 15 minutes after the Beta 3 upgrade. No problems since.
