After I installed version 1940, everything was fine. But the next time I launched it (a few hours later), my iMac had a kernal panic. The only thing different was that I launched it from an alias on my desktop. That alias was created with an older version of Parallels, so I replaced it with a fresh alias and everything is fine now. FYI.
