    Hello all,

Has anyone run into troubles getting the Kensington Expert Mouse to have the mouse synchronization service run? I have just purchased the trackball and installed the software on both the Mac OS X and in Windows XP and now when I go to run Coherence mode I get the following error:

The Parallels mouse synchronization service is not started. Reinstall Parallels Tools and try again.

I have since uninstalled the Kensington Mouse Works software from the Windows XP side of things, but I am still getting the same error. I would like, really like, to be able to run Windows in Coherence mode as it certainly makes it a lot easier to use the Windows programs when they're just in their own window.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, I'm using the most current version of Parallels and the most current versions of the Mouse Works driver software.

    Cheers!!

    Hello Anupama,

Thanks for your reply. Are there instructions as to how to go about uninstalling and re-installing the Parallels Tools? The only installation I have is from the download and I seem to recall that when I went to take the re-install option from the menu it was looking for an ISO.

Also, once I've re-installed the Parallels Tools will I still be able to use all of the options on the Expert Mouse? I seem to recall having found another thread that spoke about losing these features.

Perhaps you can check this out and let me know?

Once again, thanks, and have a great day!!
