I moved to a new iMac today and was given a new Copy of Parallels for it. Installed it and transferred all my files over with the Migration Assistant. Everything went smooth as ice. Now, however, I can't launch any applications inside the XP VM I moved over. When I do, I get the following error message:

"The application is installed in a virtual machine that cannot be located. Make sure that the virtual machine hasn't been deleted or moved to another location."

The applications seem to run OK, but obviously I don't want to deal with this error every time I launch something!

Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

    Thanks.

I'm having the same problem. Seemed to start happening after compression.
