Apple MacBook Pro, Mac OS 10.5.4 Parallels 3.0, Build 5608 Windows XP sp3 Remote user connecting to internet with Verizon EVDO wireless broadband with Internet sharing enabled to Airport and Mac OS DNS settings entered manually in Win XP TCP/IP properties. Internet Explorer in Windows XP can load webpages OK. In Windows XP, the computer was removed from the domain during initial troubleshooting of the internet connection and now cannot be rejoined. Connecting to office network from Mac side with Cisco VPN 4.9.01, can ping the address and the fully qualified name of the domain controller OK but attempting to join the domain fails. Have tried the domain name and the fully qualified domain name, no success. Has anyone been able to successfully join a domain in Parallels Windows XP from the outside?
