Looked around and found someone else who had this problem, but couldn't find a solution...

I have Windows XP Pro installed on a Boot Camp partition
I have Parallels Build 3188 installed (brand new, just installed it this morning)

I followed all the instructions provided, but when I try to boot it up I get the message:

Well there's nothing that mentions this problem in the help file, and I have no idea what drivers they might be talking about. I'm at a loss. Anyone know how to fix this?

I reinstalled XP on a FAT32 partition instead of NTFS and recreated the VM. The first time I tried to boot it I got the infinite rainbow wheel of doom. After quitting forcefully I now get the some error I did before. I'm really out of ideas now.

Do you have a fully functional Boot Camp installation working?

I do. Booting into Windows through Boot Camp works beautifully. I've had no problems with it with either the NTFS or FAT32 installs.
