I am using iCloud Drive on my iMac running Catalina, and realised this was causing issues the Mojave VM running on Parallels because of the location of the Parallels folder in the Documents older on the host. So I researched and followed the instructions here, https://kb.parallels.com/123981
all went smoothly except nothing apparently happened when i double clicked on the MacOS.pvm in the new location in the User folder as per point 4 in the linked guide. "IMPORTANT: Double-click the virtual machine bundle after moving it to the new directory to register it in Parallels Desktop for Mac."

Now when I start the VM it pops up with this message, "The specified file cannot be used as a virtual hard drive please specify another file" when I click on OK, the message disappears and the VM opens, but it runs very slowly and is just about usable as a result.

I would appreciate it if anyone has any helpful suggestions!
