Hi! I love the flexibility of Parallels when it comes to remapping keys. It seems to be buggy, though... First of all, the key remappings work everywhere but not within MS Office for me. E.g. I can't use command-Z in Excel, although I have mapped ctrl-z to it. If that matters, I use a QWERTZ keyboard layout. Another thing is that I can't do all mappings I want. For example, apple is mapped to the windows key. I hate that and so I mapped Command to a different key that basically does nothing - which is what I want, I simpl want to turn off the windows key, especially on my beloved and heavily used command key. But whatever I do, the windows key will still be mapped to command. The only effect my remapping was, was that all COMBINATIONS of the command key did not work anymore. Meaning that if I map command to e.g. nothing, than command-Z does not work anymore. This is quite a bad bug for me. The mappings need to be either independent, or follow an understandable hierarchy. The third problem I have is that some programs use ctrl-f for find, and others use F3. Now what can I do? I want command-F to map to F3 IN GENERAL, but for certain programs, e.g. word, I'd like to define different mappings that overwrite the general rule. So, in word, and only in word, command-F would be ctrl-f. Am I the only one having these troubles (didnt find other posts to it) - is there a solution? Regards, JakobV
What layouts are set in Mac OSX and in Windows? Please check http://kb.parallels.com/en/5965 This functionality is not supported. Consider using some third-party keymapping software e.g. KoalaTerm
