    Hello,

Since I upgraded to Parallels 4, my iSight doesn't work. When I activate the webcam in the menu Devices, the popup appears at the bottom right saying : "Found new hardware, Apple Built-in iSight". And after few seconds it adds to the popup : "Unprogrammed". Finally a window opens (Found new hardware wizard) and says : cannot install this hardware (...) there was a problem installing this hardware (...).

What should I do ? it worked seamlessly in Parallels 3.

Try installing it from the Leopard installation CD, see here

Hi, I had the problem of not being able to run the appleisightinstaller.exe file, so I did it manually through CMD. That worked and I got confirmation page up saying "drivers have been installed" and that the device was "ready to use". But the iSight camera in the device manager still had a question mark over it and was unrecognized. I tried restarting Windows to see if it would recognize the new drivers then, but it still doesn't recognize the camera. I opened device manager again and it still says "the drivers for this device are not installed".

Any idea what's going wrong? Why the drivers won't..."stick".
