Is it possible to run Parallels DEsktop for Mac Pro Without Parallels Tools?

If possible, I do not want the parallels tools installed as part of my system.

I am using Parallels trial. When I created a debian instance as virtual machine, the Parallels desktop appears to have made it impossible to avoid installing parallels tools. The installation was an automatic part of opening the instance in the desktop app.

Is it possible to remove those tools and have them not come back?
