Is it normal for parallels to add 40 seconds to the boot time of my computer?

    Hi,
I just installed parallels on my windows xp home computer. It is a amd 64 2800+, Asus K8N motherboard, 320 seagate sata hard drive, 512 megs of ram. My boot time was previously 25 seconds. After installing parallels, my boot time is 1 minute and 05 seconds. I know it is installing drivers, but is it normal to add that much to my boot time?
    Thanks!

Parallels should add an insignificant amout to your boot time - unless you are starting Parallels at boot time. Then you should expect to add in the amount of time that an auto-started guest takes to boot.
