Is DirectDraw supported? I'm new to the Windows world of DirectX, Direct3D, etc. so I'm confused. I've read that DirectX is not supported, but the 2-D version of DirectX, DirectDraw, possibly is. Am I right? The reason I ask is the following error code when trying to run Inquisit by Millisec Software. DirectDraw Error 80004001: The operation is not supported... Line 333, File F:\Inquisit\2.0.6.0616.0\IQRuntime\DirDraw.cpp I've tried isntalling the "SwiftShader" .dlls into the Inquisit directory, but that hasn't fixed the problem. Is it possible that I need to install DirectDraw? Thanks, Joe
It seems like there are aspects of DirectShow / DirectDraw that are not supported. I've got a few things in Matlab that rely on this that fail entirely. No fancy 3D or anything, just some low-level blitting I believe, but it fails hard. Craig
