Is DHCP supposed to hijack Mac OS internet?

    If I have bridged ethernet w/ DHCP set, I cannot use Mac OS-based internet programs until I suspend the windows system. Is this normal?

    Mac internet Hijacked so far...

    Yes, I am having the same experience - XP took over the internet connection (why am I not surprised ;)). There were some Mac based messaged during the install about an IP address that was already in use. I ignored them (they were just an (OK) button anyway). However, it is pretty cool to be able to write this on the XP PRO that is running in Parallels. It really is extremely fast!
