    Is ActiveSync supported yet?

I can't get it to work in Build 3036 using Windows XP.

Does that mean it is not yet supported by Parallels Desktop for Mac or should I keep trying?

    Thanks,

I have activesync working. Using ActiveSync 4.5beta2 with a windows mobile 5 device.

There are a few tricks required to get this to work.

Have a look at my page at this link for details including some screenshots.

    Thanks RT.

Unfortunately your tricks won't work for me. I want to use ActiveSync via a USB cable to upload/download to a home theater Universal Remote Control MX-3000.

I received a very quick response from Parallels' tech support advising that Parallels doesn't support Microsoft ActiveSync in the current version, but that this feature will be avaliable in future version of Parallels. I had tried ActiveSync in both the 1970 Build and the 3036 Beta.

Oh well. It is a feature supported by Virtual PC 7.0. I guess I'll have to hold on to that old PowerBook G4 1.67 after all.

But, at the rate Parallels is improving their amazing software, i'm sure they'll eventually get ActiveSync to work.

I think it also depends on the device. Some devices just work a bit strange.
