Internet, Lexmark won’t work

2.16 17†macbook, latest osx4, parallels 1970 with evaluation vista ultimate.

For internet (Ethernet, cable modem) vista says ‘connected to unidentified network’, but ‘local use only’ and ‘limited or no connectivity’.
Vista connection repair didn’t do any good.

Tried restarting modem after turning on virtual machine – no difference.


Vista recognizes my x1200 Lexmark and goes about installing driver off cd, but the operation times out in 5 minutes without installing the driver successfully.
